This Privacy Notice explains how 108 Interior (the Controller) processes personal data in connection with the website 108interior.com (the Website) in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Hungarian data protection legislation.

2. Definitions

  • Personal data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
  • Data subject: the natural person to whom the personal data relates.
  • Processing: any operation performed on personal data (collection, storage, use, erasure, etc.).
  • Processor: a party that processes personal data on behalf of the Controller.

3. Categories of data, purposes and legal bases

3.1. Contact form

Through the Website contact form, you may provide: name, email address, phone number, and message content.

  • Purpose: handling enquiries, responding to requests, preparing offers, maintaining customer relations.
  • Legal basis: consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) and steps prior to entering into a contract at the data subject's request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Retention: up to 3 years from submission, or longer where required by applicable law.
  • Mandatory fields: name, email and phone are required; the message field is optional.

Form data is forwarded to the Controller by email and may be logged in CSV format for abuse prevention and case tracking purposes.

3.2. Website operation and technical logs

When you visit the Website, servers may automatically record technical data (such as IP address, browser type, operating system, visit time, pages viewed) to ensure secure operation, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

  • Legal basis: legitimate interests of the Controller (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Retention: server logs are generally kept for up to 90 days unless a longer period is justified by legal claims.

3.3. Embedded map (Google Maps)

An embedded Google Maps frame is displayed in the Website footer. When the map loads, Google (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) may process personal data (such as IP address) as an independent controller and, in many cases, may also use cookies and other tracking technologies.

3.4. Fonts

The Website serves typography from its own hosting (self-hosted fonts). No external font CDN is used, and no automatic data transfer to third parties occurs for displaying typography.

3.5. Google Analytics

The Website uses Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) to measure traffic and analyse how the Website is used. The service is loaded only if the visitor accepts the Analytics category in the cookie notice.

Through cookies and similar technologies, Google Analytics may process data such as: IP address (where applicable truncated / anonymised), browser and device information, time of visit, pages viewed, traffic source, and aggregated statistics about interactions on the Website.

  • Purpose: measuring Website traffic, analysing usage patterns, improving user experience.
  • Legal basis: consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)); consent may be withdrawn at any time via the cookie notice.

The Website contains external links to Facebook and Instagram profiles. By following these links you leave the Website; processing on third-party platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies.

4. Processors and data transfers

The Controller may use the following categories of service providers:

  • website hosting and infrastructure providers;
  • email delivery services (SMTP);
  • Google (Maps embed);
  • Google (Analytics – traffic measurement, based on consent).

When using Google Analytics, Google may act as a processor and, in certain respects, as an independent controller. When using the Google Maps embed, Google may act as an independent controller and use cookies and tracking technologies; Google's own privacy and cookie policies apply to such processing.

Processors act only on documented instructions and under appropriate contractual safeguards. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the Controller applies appropriate safeguards under GDPR Chapter V (such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses).

5. Data security

The Controller implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, destruction or accidental loss. Access is limited to authorised persons only.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • request access to your personal data;
  • request rectification of inaccurate data;
  • request erasure in certain circumstances;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • data portability where processing is automated;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

8. Automated decision-making and profiling

The Controller does not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects data subjects.
